My dream spot

A beautiful old building in downtown Salt Lake. It was vacant a few months ago. I was thinking that if I ever needed my own studio space, this is what I want. I love the exposed brick inside and all the natural window light.

First Snow of 2008

I can't believe we woke up to snow this early in the year!
It melted and warmed up for the rest of the week though. Now we are just wondering when the next one will come.

Allen & the Stormy Day

We had a dark and stormy day a few weeks ago. Looked like a fun setting for some pictures so I grabbed my son and took off for one of my favorite picture spots (west side of the Salt Lake Valley with a great view of the Wasatch Mountains). Got a few cool ones before the rain started.

I was hoping to take a walk each day at lunchtime and take photos of the city. Unfortunately, the summer has gotten away from me and I only got a few photos. Well, I won't let the cold weather approaching to deter me. A photo a day is my goal!

We went up in to mountains yesterday to have a family lunch and escape the heat.
We saw these cute little guys while we were driving around Huntsville yesterday.
